Provides individualized case management for job seekers, including participant assessments, intake, employment planning, supportive-service coordination, career counseling, advocacy, and job placement assistance. Maintains participant data, reporting, and compliance records while helping diverse populations overcome employment barriers. Requires travel between JVS SoCal offices, partner sites, and community locations throughout Los Angeles County.

Develop and implement sector-focused workforce development initiatives for high-demand industries. Build partnerships with employers, educators, and community organizations; coordinate training and career pathway programs; support job seekers; analyze labor market data; prepare reports; and conduct outreach. The role requires knowledge of WIOA guidelines, strong communication and analytical skills, flexible scheduling, and travel to businesses, worksites, meetings, and events.

Manages a large refugee-services caseload, conducts client assessments, makes employment referrals and job matches, supports resume and interview preparation, monitors participation and job-search activities, documents services in LRS/CalSAWS, prepares reports, and coordinates welfare-to-work activities in accordance with DPSS, CalWORKs, and GAIN requirements.

Provides housing relocation, stabilization, and comprehensive case management services to homeless veterans and their families across Los Angeles County. Assesses housing barriers, develops action plans, connects clients with community resources, supports housing searches and applications, and advocates for program eligibility and services. Maintains HMIS and other records, ensures data integrity and confidentiality, complies with funder requirements, and conducts outreach at partner and housing sites.

Designs and implements workforce initiatives for targeted populations facing employment barriers. Coordinates supportive services, training, outreach, employer and community partnerships, participant career guidance, and WIOA-compliant reporting. Provides individualized support, interprets labor market data, engages stakeholders, and promotes sustainable employment outcomes. Requires flexible scheduling and travel to businesses, worksites, meetings, and related events.

Provide front-desk reception and administrative support to the Director of Project Management and other departments. Manage visitor intake, phone routing, calendars, filing, office supplies, vendor and facilities coordination, meeting logistics, basic communications, and website/content reviews. Use Microsoft 365/Google Workspace, project-tracking tools, and AI productivity tools to streamline office operations.

Develop and execute individualized job placement strategies for veterans and spouses, engage local employers, provide job readiness coaching, facilitate training and workshops, perform labor market analysis, track placements and retention, ensure WIOA compliance, and collaborate with case managers to support long-term employment success.

Manage grant/contract budgets, invoicing, collections, budget tracking and modifications. Prepare invoices, accruals, reconciliations, and compliance reports; support audits; maintain contract records and improve grant accounting processes while collaborating with program directors and accounting staff.
