Own end-to-end outcomes for defense acquisition programs: set priorities and success criteria, embed with customers, act as named Program Manager on major federal programs, guide forward deployed engineering teams, convert delivery into growth, and feed field learnings back into product and engineering. Travel domestically to customer sites, tests, and milestones as needed.

Leads digital engineering execution, architecture, technical strategy, and customer-facing problem solving. Manages and mentors Forward Deployed Engineers, oversees concurrent initiatives, reviews designs and implementations, translates customer needs into technical plans, and establishes reusable standards and processes. The role combines hands-on engineering leadership with people management across MBSE, CAD/PLM, requirements, simulation, software integrations, and digital thread capabilities.

Build and deploy production-quality software integrations within customer aerospace and defense environments. Embed with engineering teams, connect CAD, CFD, FEM, simulation, and digital engineering workflows to Istari’s platform, develop reusable solutions, and serve as the primary technical interface. Translate customer needs into product insights, contribute to architecture and roadmap discussions, and support technical proposals. The role requires onsite customer work, U.S. citizenship, and clearance eligibility.
