Inktank is a professional services and support company that was founded in 2012 by several creators of Ceph, including Sage Weil, cofounder of DreamHost and CEO and Chief Architect of Ceph. The company is based in Los Angeles, CA and is funded by New Dream Network.

We are committed to supporting the adoption of Ceph, an open source project with tremendous potential to transform the storage industry. The technology was created to help organizations decrease storage costs, and increase operational flexibility by freeing them from the restrictive, expensive, proprietary storage systems.

Through professional services and support subscriptions, Inktank is furthering the adoption of Ceph. We are also actively involved in contributing to OpenStack, btrfs, KVM/QEMU and several other open source projects.
