Supports Claims Examiners with administrative claims processing, payment preparation, documentation, data entry, customer communications, and compliance-related tasks. Contacts insureds, claimants, vendors, legal counsel, and providers to obtain or relay information. Maintains claim records, completes diary tasks, verifies documentation, and assists with claims resolution. Mentors and trains less-experienced Claims Assistants while providing responsive service to internal and external customers.

Supervise and develop the Claims Support team, ensure quality and timely claims processing, create workflows and reports, perform audits, drive process improvements, handle escalations and communicate with insureds and agents, and manage hiring, training, and performance management for the unit.

Support and manage EDI compliance and reporting for workers compensation claims (FROI/SROI, Medicare Section 111). Reconcile and validate EDI transactions, investigate and resolve errors, maintain documentation and workflows, assist audits, support trainings, collaborate with IT/vendors, and provide analytical and project-based support to Claims and stakeholders.

The Actuarial Specialist produces analyses, manages projects, and oversees team workload to enhance actuarial processes in the organization, ensuring business growth and profitability.
