Provide remote litigation support for 2-3 California workers' compensation attorneys: prepare court documents, manage calendars and depositions, assist with trial preparation and discovery, maintain electronic files, handle high-volume document production, and perform general administrative tasks to support a paperless claims legal team.

Handle a designated caseload of California Workers' Compensation cases: research, prepare pleadings, present defense strategies at hearings/trials, negotiate resolutions, collaborate with claims partners, manage files, meet billable hours, and use case management tools.

The role focuses on achieving sales targets through agency management, territory oversight, and relationship building with independent agencies in California. It involves implementing sales plans, utilizing analytics, and engaging in both in-person and virtual sales calls.

Manage multinational network partner relationships and service delivery to meet KPIs. Lead stewardship meetings and in-person visits, handle escalations, support onboarding, maintain Global Online portal and mailbox, perform SLA reporting, assist with outbound reinsurance slips, premium reconciliation, and local policy quality control.

Senior in-house attorney handling complex high-exposure litigation in Northern California. Independently manages cases from inception through trial, conducts legal research, drafts pleadings and motions, tries cases first-chair, advises claims partners and insureds, and provides damage/liability opinions.

Handle a diverse portfolio of insurance defense matters from intake through trial, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and ADR. Advise claims and insureds, develop defense strategies, prepare witnesses and evidence, try cases, and manage caseloads independently while collaborating with claims partners and using modern case management and AI tools.

Manage an end-to-end California workers' compensation defense caseload: litigation, pleadings, discovery, depositions, hearings, trials, appeals, and lien strategy. Advise claims partners and insureds, develop case strategy, coordinate experts, use case management and legal research tools, mentor colleagues, and appear at WCAB venues as required. Primarily remote within California with periodic in-person appearances.

Manage a defined book of regional group benefits accounts (500-4,999 lives) to retain and grow business. Conduct stewardship meetings, develop book strategies, drive renewals, coordinate enrollments, support producers and brokers, liaise with underwriting and internal partners, and identify process improvement opportunities. Communicate underwriting, claims experience, and pricing to customers and producers.

Support defense of California workers' compensation matters under supervision: conduct investigation and legal research, draft pleadings, prepare for depositions/hearings/trials, coordinate with claims partners and opposing counsel, and develop toward independent case handling.

Lead and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for one or more Value Streams. Translate strategy into outcomes, prioritize epics, drive agile delivery, monitor transformation metrics, coach teams, and align stakeholders across business and IT to deliver measurable enterprise value.
