Own Roon’s product strategy, audience growth, user research, feature definition, roadmap, metrics, prototyping, and quality standards. Work hands-on with engineering and design in a remote, self-managing team. Use AI coding tools to investigate the codebase, build prototypes and internal tooling, and query product data to guide decisions. Represent users, communicate with expert communities and leadership, and manage the product across multiple quarters.

Lead the architecture and development of scalable backend APIs for music catalog, search, recommendation, personalization, and user interaction. Design data models, integrate third-party metadata and streaming services, optimize performance, implement observability, and ensure reliability. Establish engineering standards, review code, mentor developers, evaluate technologies, and collaborate with product, frontend, and data teams. The role requires extensive backend experience and expertise across cloud platforms, deployment, databases, caching, messaging, and CI/CD.

Lead the development and maintenance of high-performance cross-platform desktop and mobile applications for HiFi audio. Drive technical direction, mentor team members, and innovate audio streaming solutions while ensuring product scalability and performance.
