The role requires active coding in Java and C, familiarity with C++, scripting, Windows and Linux environments, multithreaded applications, real-time systems, networking, and related software concepts. The engineer works under supervision in office, engineering lab, and occasionally production-floor environments.

Designs, configures, tests, implements, and improves SAP APO and PP solutions for demand planning, supply network planning, production planning, scheduling, and execution. Gathers business requirements, develops functional specifications, manages integration testing, supports implementation using SAP resources, estimates workloads, and leads continuous improvement. The role requires independent work, cross-functional communication, and management of multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Develops and tests cutting tools, toolholders, workholding, and related machine-tool products. Responsibilities include CAD modeling, blueprint creation, prototype development, quality testing, technical documentation, product specifications, customer support, and collaboration with marketing, product development, and manufacturing. The role also requires CNC operation and programming, CAM, SAP, VBA and Python programming, technical training, and limited travel.
