Lead design and validation of autonomous mission behaviors and GNC algorithms for AUVs. Develop vehicle dynamics models, implement search, obstacle avoidance, and replanning behaviors, define V&V test plans, analyze field test data, collaborate across disciplines, and mentor mid/junior engineers.

Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for AUV enclosures, sensor and payload integration, and electronics packaging. Produce 3D CAD models and engineering drawings, lead mechanical-electrical-software integration, support manufacturing, testing (including at-sea and environmental), and manage configuration/change control and technical reporting.

Lead design, analysis, and validation of guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for autonomous vehicles. Architect GPS‑denied navigation solutions, develop vehicle dynamics and control architectures, define V&V test plans, analyze field data, collaborate across disciplines, and mentor junior engineers.

Develop, test, and maintain autonomy software for AUVs using C++/C#. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define requirements, integrate with hardware and simulators, follow SDLC and cybersecurity practices, produce technical documentation, and support field tests and verification activities.
