Supports domestic patent prosecution by preparing and filing USPTO documents, maintaining patent dockets and electronic files, processing official communications, opening and updating matters, conducting conflict checks, and assisting attorneys and clients. The role requires strong organization, communication, technical, analytical, and prioritization skills in a deadline-driven environment.

Conducts in-depth legal and business research for attorneys and administrative teams, synthesizes findings, advises on research strategies, manages research projects, and evaluates information resources. Develops training curricula, delivers onboarding, monitors legal-industry developments and emerging AI research technologies, maintains newsletters and intranet content, and recommends resource purchases. Requires expert knowledge of legal and business research platforms, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities independently and collaboratively.

Maintains and improves knowledge management systems by entering, analyzing, tagging, and quality-checking deal, case, people, and matter information. Updates intranet content, produces reports for attorneys and marketing teams, supports document automation and data visualization applications, assists with database maintenance, and identifies process automation opportunities. The role also conducts onboarding, responds to internal information requests, collaborates with vendors and technical teams, and promotes knowledge management best practices.
