The Studio Engineer bridges industrial design and mechanical engineering for autonomous transit vehicles. Responsibilities include physical vehicle architecture, advanced CAD surfacing, digital master modeling, tolerance analysis, rapid prototyping, design for high-volume manufacturing, vendor collaboration, factory bring-up, and establishing cosmetic and finish standards. The role protects design intent while delivering manufacturable, production-ready interior and exterior components.

Develop and execute Hardware-in-the-Loop tests for an integrated autonomous transit system. Responsibilities include creating automated regression tests, analyzing logs and telemetry, troubleshooting embedded controllers and networks, tracking defects, improving simulators and test infrastructure, preparing readiness evidence, and collaborating with software, autonomy, vehicle, safety, quality, and deployment teams. The role involves hands-on lab, vehicle, and test-facility work with some travel or on-site presence.
