The VP, Legal will help build and operate GITAI’s legal function, supporting government and commercial contracts, supplier and strategic partnerships, export controls, corporate governance, fundraising, employment matters, and compliance. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating agreements, advising on risk, managing outside counsel, supporting government proposals, and developing legal processes, templates, and approval systems. The role is fully onsite in Torrance, California, requires U.S. citizenship and may require security-clearance eligibility.

Owns sourcing and supplier execution for mechanical parts, assemblies, and subsystems from engineering release through delivery. Reviews drawings, GD&T, materials, tolerances, and manufacturing requirements; selects suppliers and manufacturing paths; manages RFQs, negotiations, purchasing, quality, schedules, testing, and delivery. Builds and improves a supplier network supporting rapid hardware iteration across machining, fabrication, additive manufacturing, special processes, and mechanical assembly.

Scale GITAI's technical recruiting by performing evidence-based technical screenings of engineering portfolios, CAD/PCB work and test artifacts. Independently assess fit for hardware roles, protect engineering time, manage candidate pipelines via ATS, challenge hiring managers when needed, and continuously improve technical judgment and market knowledge.
