Leads portfolio-wide project management for the Getty Research Institute, establishing consistent methodologies, processes, reporting, resource management, and governance. Partners with project leads, engineers, system administrators, consultants, and senior stakeholders to align visitor-facing platforms such as reservations, marketing, CRM, and CMS systems.

Develop and maintain public-facing Getty applications for collections, archives, research, and scholarly publishing. Build new features, interfaces, search tools, design-system components, and media viewers using Vue.js, Python, APIs, Elasticsearch, Linked Data, and IIIF. Support existing applications, conduct testing and code reviews, document work, estimate and plan initiatives, and collaborate with designers, researchers, subject matter experts, and software developers.

Develop and maintain Getty.edu and related digital experiences. Responsibilities include integrating internal CMS APIs, building Backend-for-Frontend services, developing performant Vue.js applications, supporting real-time workflows, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, improving development processes, and collaborating with UX, design, and product teams. The role also involves testing, code reviews, accessibility, technical direction, and reducing technical debt.

Leads complex, cross-functional data and analytics technology projects from conception through implementation. Responsibilities include managing iPaaS, enterprise reporting, analytics roadmaps, data lakehouse enablement, governance, budgets, risks, vendors, change management, communications, and executive stakeholder engagement. The role coordinates multiple technical teams and supports delivery of scalable analytics platforms and governed data services in a hybrid Getty environment.

Develops and manages art-focused library collections through bibliographic evaluation, approval-plan oversight, acquisitions selection, budget tracking, vendor and donor relationship building, and collection policy development. The role requires expertise in art history, bibliographic metadata, library systems, foreign-language materials, and research methods. The Associate Bibliographer also contributes to Getty communications, professional organizations, research, presentations, exhibitions, and publications while collaborating with librarians, curators, vendors, donors, and other stakeholders.

Leads change management for major digital initiatives, developing adoption strategies, communications, training, stakeholder engagement, readiness assessments, risk mitigation, and success metrics. The role supports Microsoft 365 modernization and visitor experience projects, coaches project teams and junior staff, advises senior leaders, and builds organizational change management capability.

Coordinates image acquisition and rights clearance for Getty communications, exhibitions, publications, and public programs. Sources images, negotiates licensing and reproduction rights, tracks contracts, captions, credits, legal restrictions, payments, and project costs. Maintains relationships with image and media agencies, organizes documentation for production teams, and may assist with publications licensing and supervise freelancers.

Develop and maintain Getty.edu and related digital experiences using Vue.js and modern JavaScript. Build CMS integrations, reusable accessible components, design token systems, and scalable frontend and backend features. Support CI/CD pipelines, testing, technical design, code reviews, and software development best practices while collaborating with designers, UX researchers, architects, and stakeholders.

Leads a one-year enterprise electronic records management discovery project for the Getty Research Institute. Responsibilities include assessing current systems and workflows, engaging stakeholders, identifying risks and compliance gaps, developing policies and retention schedules, defining functional requirements, managing project plans and risks, and producing recommendations, a final report, and roadmap. The role may supervise others and requires archival expertise, project management, stakeholder facilitation, and limited warehouse-related physical work.

Provides administrative support and project coordination for a department, program, or senior manager. Responsibilities include preparing correspondence and reports, coordinating meetings and events, managing calendars and travel, processing expenses, researching data, supporting contracts and budgets, overseeing office operations, coordinating vendors, and advising staff on organizational policies and procedures.

Supports roadmap development and delivery for Getty research applications. Supports the preparation and execution of a major international antiquities exhibition. Responsibilities include coordinating curatorial workflows, tracking loans and image permissions, editing catalogue and gallery materials, assisting with digital resources and public programming, supporting installation and deinstallation, and leading exhibition tours. The role collaborates with museum staff, lenders, authors, and external partners.

Leads security operations across Getty’s campuses, collections, facilities, and other properties. Oversees approximately 200 security staff through managers, establishes security policies and staffing strategies, manages incident response and emergency preparedness, supports risk mitigation and construction projects, coordinates training and law-enforcement partnerships, and represents security leadership during emergencies and special events. The role also supports visitor experience, compliance, budget planning, transportation security, and organizational change.

The Senior Editor develops and manages illustrated art book projects from proposal and acquisition through manuscript development, editing, proofreading, and production transmittal. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, coordinating authors and freelancers, overseeing peer review and consultants, tracking schedules and budgets, managing publication records, and collaborating with Design, Production, and Rights teams. The role also supports junior staff development and may work across print and digital publications in art, photography, archaeology, architecture, conservation, and humanities.

Develops and maintains metadata workflows for Getty’s Linked Open Data environment using Arches. Responsibilities include metadata creation and curation, semantic data mapping, crosswalks, cleaning, transformation, analysis, reporting, scripting, testing, documentation, and data integration. The role applies linked-data standards and computational methods, supports interoperability and reuse, collaborates across teams, and contributes to outreach, presentations, and publications related to cultural heritage data.

Conducts research in Getty Research Institute special collections, supports Latin American art research projects, and contributes to exhibitions, publications, bibliographies, literature reviews, and research documentation. Provides additional assistance to Dissemination and External Affairs teams, including Digital Media, Content Strategy, communications, and publications. Requires art history or related education, Spanish proficiency, and strong organizational, writing, collaboration, and project-management skills.
