Build AI-powered tools that accelerate nuclear engineering workflows, including safety and physics analyses, neutronics simulations, and automated ticket, design-tree, and file-management processes. The role embeds with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks, prototype solutions, and deploy production-grade Python tools using LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and tool-use architectures. Work is fully onsite, may require extended hours, and requires US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Q clearance.

Develop the integrated safety basis for a new NRC-licensed uranium enrichment facility under 10 CFR Part 70. Responsibilities include hazard and accident sequence analyses, consequence and likelihood evaluations, HAZOP/FMEA leadership, IROFS definition, ISA Summary and licensing documentation, risk assessment across nuclear, chemical, fire, and external hazards, NRC support, design verification, configuration management, and startup readiness.

Own and maintain the integrated safety basis for a uranium enrichment facility, including the ISA, management measures, license commitments, configuration control, and supporting analyses. Lead safety evaluations for design and operational changes, ensure consistency across licensing documents, interface with the NRC, coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams, and mentor staff through regulatory reviews and audits.
