Design and implement motor, drive, and motion-control algorithms for uranium-enrichment systems. Develop control-oriented models, estimation and monitoring algorithms, and integrate, test, debug, and calibrate controls across simulation, bench, and deployed hardware. Collaborate with power electronics, firmware, mechanical, and systems teams; support stability validation through SIL and HIL tools, technical documentation, commissioning, and system improvements.

Design and build test fixtures and instrumented setups for mechanical, thermal, vibration, shock, durability, and materials testing of precision optomechanical enrichment hardware. Develop and execute qualification plans, collect and analyze test data, investigate failures, document results, and partner with engineering teams on corrective actions and design improvements.

Design, build, test, and own precision mechanical structures and optomechanical systems for uranium enrichment technology. Responsibilities include material and coating selection, design optimization, qualification testing, alignment and beam stability testing, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional system integration. The role requires applying mechanical engineering fundamentals and materials expertise to hardware exposed to demanding thermal, chemical, optical, and mechanical conditions in a fast-paced environment.
