Design, build, and maintain custom test solutions and data-acquisition systems to validate mechanical and electrical hardware. Lead design reviews, execute hardware test plans and qualification campaigns, analyze failures, implement test automation, and collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to improve reliability.

Own end-to-end procurement and supply chain for mechanical, electrical, and specialty hardware. Source and qualify suppliers, run RFQs, negotiate contracts, manage inventory/lead times, maintain forecasts and vendor performance, implement scalable material-planning processes, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and finance to ensure material readiness and cost optimization.

Design, build, and qualify fixtures, jigs, and workholding for CNC mills and lathes. Partner with machinists and CNC programmers to validate setups, source components, perform first-article inspection, maintain a tooling library, drive continuous improvement, and support facility tooling layout for production ramp-up.

Own dynamics, loads, and vibration analysis for hardware driving requirements, testing, data analysis, and model correlation. Define vibe/shock requirements, execute test programs, perform root-cause analysis, optimize designs for cost and manufacturability, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure integrated system performance.

Design, develop, and scale manufacturing processes, tools, and test stands. Collaborate with design engineers for manufacturability, build and validate prototypes, perform root-cause analysis, and establish manufacturing and quality practices to transition hardware from development to production.

Execute end-to-end procurement for EPC projects (including NRC-regulated), including sourcing, RFQs, bid evaluation, negotiation, purchase orders, supplier management, compliance with technical/regulatory requirements, performance monitoring, documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Design, build, and own high-fidelity simulators for complex, distributed physical systems. Model dynamics and control across nominal and off-nominal conditions, run large-scale scenario generation, validate outputs against test and hardware data, and ensure correctness, robustness, and scalable simulation infrastructure.

Design, develop, test, and evaluate electrical, instrumentation, and control systems for an enrichment facility, including power generation, microgrids, UPS/battery systems, transformers, and protective systems. Produce specifications and documentation, support operations and maintenance, perform load and trade studies, and collaborate with senior engineers on system integration and reliability work.

Build and scale the quality program for manufacturing: create procedures, inspection and control plans, select inspection equipment, lead first article and process validation, drive root cause investigations and corrective actions, support supplier quality and audits, analyze process performance, and train production staff while reporting quality metrics to leadership.

Develop high-performance, safety-critical software in C++ and Python to control actuators and process high-speed signals. Manage and maintain on-prem Linux and Windows infrastructure and hybrid Microsoft 365/Azure services. Support identity, endpoint security, monitoring, and engineering simulation applications. Automate provisioning, contribute to ITSM processes, provide helpdesk escalation, and maintain documentation and SOPs to ensure secure, reliable, scalable systems.

Own design, specification, and commissioning of PLC/HMI/SCADA and safety instrumented systems. Lead functional safety lifecycle activities (hazard analysis, SIL determination, verification/validation, proof testing). Develop interlocks, shutdown logic, cause-and-effect matrices, and alarm strategies. Support HAZOP/LOPA, FAT/SAT, commissioning, troubleshooting, and operational readiness. Produce engineering documentation and collaborate with electrical, mechanical, process, nuclear, operations, and safety teams.

Provide strategic administrative support to senior leaders: manage complex calendars, coordinate travel and events, handle external communications, track action items, draft materials, and collaborate across teams to ensure smooth executive operations in a fast-paced environment.

Develop safety-critical embedded firmware to control electromechanical systems: implement low-level C/C++/Rust code, design control/state machines and data acquisition, debug with lab instruments, perform safety analyses, and support system bring-up and production deployment.

Design and scale the company's export-control program (DOE Part 810 and EAR), advise procurement and IT on compliance, prepare Part 810 applications, manage vendor and government interactions, lead incident response and internal investigations, and support executive engagement with NNSA and other agencies.
