Defend first-party insurance lawsuits in California: research laws, prepare briefs/opinions, handle pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, and trials. Collaborate with Claims, document files professionally, follow complex instructions, and travel as required to hearings, trials, and meetings.

The Associate Counsel will handle litigation in California courts, prepare legal documents, provide liability opinions, and defend trials and hearings.

Manage and grow relationships with independent insurance agencies across a designated territory through in-person and virtual engagement. Provide product expertise, training, local marketing support, performance monitoring, recruiting and disciplinary actions, and use data to drive agency growth and execution. Travel within territory required (40% overnight).
