Supports multidisciplinary industrial and transportation design projects from research and concepting through prototyping, visualization, and presentation. Collaborates with engineering, planning, and research teams to develop physical, digital, and service experiences. Builds sketching, modeling, systems thinking, workshop facilitation, storytelling, and low-fidelity prototyping skills while translating customer insights into feasible product concepts.

Develop and own physics-based battery cell and lifetime models, integrate them with vehicle models, guide cell and product design, define thermal and pack requirements, support testing and roadmap scenarios, and correlate models with field vehicle data. The role requires advanced lithium-ion battery modeling expertise, engineering fundamentals, cross-functional collaboration, and proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or Simulink.

Leads concept development, detailed design, engineering, and production launch of automotive closures, body structures, exterior, and chassis systems. Builds and manages hardware engineering teams, establishes structural and vehicle targets, develops 3D designs, optimizes performance through analysis and testing, applies GD&T, ensures regulatory compliance, and collaborates with design, manufacturing, suppliers, and other engineering teams.
