Build and deploy production AI solutions that improve business workflows, including AI agents, copilots, RAG systems, automations, and decision-support applications. Partner with teams across the organization to translate business needs into technical solutions, integrate enterprise platforms, establish testing and governance, and support user adoption. Evaluate emerging AI technologies and continuously improve solutions for reliability, security, scalability, and business value.

Leads qualitative and quantitative consumer and market research across product categories, owning the research roadmap from business question through executive recommendations. Conducts surveys, interviews, segmentation, conjoint, MaxDiff, pricing, customer journey, and job-mapping studies. Combines primary research with analytics and customer data to influence product development, portfolio strategy, and business decisions. Manages external research firms, mentors an internal team member, and partners cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Strategy.

Lead the architecture and hands-on development of native iOS and Android applications for Fieldpiece’s connected products. Establish in-house mobile engineering capabilities, define technical standards, and solve complex problems involving BLE devices, cloud services, APIs, data platforms, and distributed systems. Partner across product, UX, embedded, cloud, and data teams while guiding architecture, security, performance, testing, CI/CD, observability, and release management.

Develop strategy and roadmaps for connected HVACR hardware, firmware, and software products. Conduct customer and market research, identify opportunities, define product requirements, build investment cases, and lead products from concept through commercialization. Partner with engineering, sales, marketing, finance, and operations on product development and launches. Translate technical capabilities and customer insights into product strategies, requirements, and compelling value propositions.

Own verification and validation across new product development, translating requirements into test strategies, methods, fixtures, instrumentation, automated systems, and laboratory capabilities. Execute functional, performance, reliability, environmental, prototype, and field testing; troubleshoot failures; analyze data; recommend design improvements; maintain traceability and technical documentation; coordinate cross-functional and external testing; and guide test technicians.

Leads complex hardware, firmware, and software product development programs from concept through commercial launch. Coordinates cross-functional engineering, product, design, quality, manufacturing, suppliers, and global partners. Responsibilities include program planning, risk management, executive communication, decision-making, governance, and continuous improvement using Fast Time To Market methodologies.

Leads the technical direction and development of connected HVACR products from concept through production. Responsibilities include product architecture, requirements, hands-on mechanical design, prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, validation, and structured problem solving. The role leads multidisciplinary engineering teams, coordinates with suppliers and manufacturers, makes product-level tradeoffs, supports executive decisions, and drives design reviews, FMEA, RCCA, patent development, and engineering improvements.

Lead global HR strategy and operations across the U.S., Europe, and Australia. Oversee talent development, workforce planning, organizational design, total rewards, compliance, employee relations, learning and development, HR systems, and global employee experience. Partner with executive leadership, manage a small HR team, support culture and change initiatives, and serve as the California office site leader. The role is on-site in Orange, California, with up to 15% travel.

Develop and maintain embedded firmware for connected HVACR tools, design wireless communications between devices and mobile apps, integrate sensors and interfaces, collaborate across hardware and product teams, support products from concept through production, and troubleshoot system-level issues to improve reliability.

Lead strategy, roadmap, and business performance for an HVACR product portfolio. Gather customer and market insights, define product vision and roadmaps, partner cross-functionally to commercialize hardware, software, and AI-enabled products, build business cases, and drive lifecycle management and continuous improvement.

Design, build, and operate AWS-hosted infrastructure and ECS container environments using Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD. Implement monitoring, logging, and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch, CloudWatch), troubleshoot production issues, optimize cost and performance, automate deployments, participate in on-call rotation, and collaborate with software teams to improve reliability and scalability.
