Teams at DLR Group

Lead multidisciplinary mechanical engineering teams and multiple Justice + Civic projects, overseeing design quality, construction documents, budgets, schedules, deliverables, and client expectations. Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, vendors, and owners; review interdisciplinary designs; guide staff on justice facility requirements; and support business development, RFPs, client interviews, and relationship management. Apply expertise in smoke control, mechanical and plumbing systems, security integration, facility operations, building codes, and sustainable design standards.

Supports the design and delivery of audiovisual systems for commercial, education, and civic environments. Collaborates with senior designers, architects, engineers, and consultants to develop technical drawings, specifications, coordinated documentation, and high-quality project deliverables. Applies BIM protocols, QA/QC procedures, industry standards, and project budgets. Participates in design reviews, resolves audiovisual design challenges, communicates across teams, and manages assigned workplans while pursuing ongoing technical development.

Designs electrical building systems from schematics through construction administration across complex commercial, educational, sports, workplace, and civic projects. Prepares calculations, layouts, reports, narratives, and detailed engineering drawings; coordinates with architecture and other disciplines; conducts site surveys and punch-list reviews; leads project teams, manages workloads, and mentors engineers. Requires a Professional Engineer license, 10+ years of experience, and Revit MEP expertise.
