Supports federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial emergency management planning through geospatial and data analytics. Develops emergency operations, hazard mitigation, and continuity plans; applies FEMA planning processes; facilitates stakeholder coordination; supports exercises, disaster activations, and deployments. Performs quantitative and qualitative analysis, develops database and modeling solutions, applies AI and machine learning techniques, and ensures compliance with government regulations. This is an on-call, non-full-time role requiring frequent travel and extended deployments.

Develop and implement emergency operations, hazard mitigation, and continuity plans for federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial stakeholders supporting LA28 Olympics planning. Facilitate interagency coordination, exercises, technical assistance, and stakeholder discussions. Apply FEMA planning processes, emergency management policies, geospatial analytics, data analysis, database solutions, and AI/ML techniques to support evidence-based decisions. Provide surge staffing during disaster activations and ensure compliance with federal regulations.

Deploys to disaster-impacted sites nationwide to support FEMA and government disaster recovery programs. Conducts facility inspections, assesses infrastructure damage, documents findings, develops restoration scopes of work, prepares cost estimates, supports hazard mitigation planning, and advises agencies on mechanical engineering and construction requirements. The role is non-full-time, on-call, deployment-based, and may require extended deployments with long workdays in stressful conditions.
