What's It Like to Work at Daxko?

Step aside, imposter syndrome. I may not have all the skills and experiences yet but here I am surrounded by team members who encourage asking questions and making mistakes. This is a UX beginner's dream work environment to learn and grow in.

I have always enjoyed helping others to succeed whether that’s a fellow employee or a customer. With team members I enjoy the process of training and helping them to succeed in their goals and career.

One word: Family. I was blessed to land on the best team at Daxko, Project Management. The support of one another is unmatched. I’m always amazed at how quickly the team is to swarm around an issue and execute on a solution, together.

The best part about working here is - THE PEOPLE! Seriously. Egos are checked at the door and everyone is so willing to help. Also DnD anyone?! - I’m constantly encouraged to take on challenges and learn new things. The growth mindset here is real.

One of my favorite things about working for CA is that it fosters a culture of collaboration and team-oriented people to accomplish the greater mission of serving our customers.

The team I am part of does bi-weekly retrospectives. We intentionally set aside time to recognize and document Kudos for our teammates. The company has many peer-nominated yearly awards and spot bonuses for going above and beyond.

In 2017, I started in Customer Support. Within three years, I now spearhead long-term payment strategy and oversee payment operations as the Director of SMB Payments. My path within Daxko is evidence that there is no shortage of growth opportunities if you keep “chopping wood,” as I say, and embrace challenges ahead of you.

My day, as Director of Engineering, consists of reviewing overnight stability reports, collaborating on solving complex technical problems, and brainstorming upcoming features. I strive to ensure the engineering teams have the tools needed for success by maintaining an environment where each individual feels empowered to make a substantial impact.
