Develops new and existing logistics business through prospecting, cold calling, networking, referrals, client meetings, proposals, pricing, and closing. Builds client relationships, qualifies opportunities, monitors sales strategies and targets, and provides recommendations based on pricing and win-rate reporting. Communicates with clients and transportation stakeholders regarding service changes and failures. The role is on-site with some travel in the assigned sales territory.

Develops profitable sales across global new and existing accounts, creates sales and margin-growth strategies, manages key customer relationships, and coordinates with operations, purchasing, logistics, and senior leadership. Requires strong negotiation, presentation, relationship-building, regulatory compliance, and knowledge of supply chain and transportation industries. Domestic and international travel is required.

Maintains global pricing and marketing databases, coordinates air and ocean freight RFQs, supports sales pricing inquiries and proposals, develops customized client and carrier datasets, and prepares pricing solutions for new and existing clients. The role also supports quarterly business reviews and produces carrier trend reports using freight pricing, statistical analysis, and office software expertise.
