The Systems Engineer III develops and sustains aerospace and electronics products through systems architecture, requirements definition, validation, verification, modeling, simulation, and technical analysis. The role applies systems engineering processes and aerospace standards, collaborates with engineering and operations teams, supports product performance and cost goals, investigates root causes, produces technical documentation, and manages work against project schedules and budgets. Occasional domestic and international travel supports customer meetings, design reviews, testing, and technical seminars.

Designs, deploys, maintains, and supports on-premises and cloud compute infrastructure. Responsibilities include managing VMware, Nutanix, Azure, and Oracle OCI environments; deploying virtual machines; patching systems; monitoring uptime; troubleshooting infrastructure; maintaining backups and disaster recovery; supporting automation; ensuring regulatory compliance; and documenting and training IT teams. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop dashboards, document reporting processes, and provide insights for business decisions and continuous improvement.

Manage manufacturing cost accounting, month-end close, inventory valuation, journal entries, standard costing, variance analysis, reconciliations, reserves, and financial reporting. Lead inventory risk and excess-obsolescence reviews, standard cost roll processes, audits, physical inventory coordination, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements. Work in a manufacturing environment with PPE, occasional lifting, and willingness to work overtime/second shift.

Supervise a small manufacturing team to execute daily production plans, maintain safety and quality, track performance metrics, apply basic lean tools (5S, standard work), support onboarding and coaching, escalate nonconformances, and participate in basic problem solving.
