The Social Services Director oversees residents’ medically related emotional and social needs in a skilled nursing and assisted living environment. Responsibilities include social work services, regulatory compliance, care planning, coordination with residents, families, and staff, and ensuring adherence to Medicare, PPS, MDS, Title 22, and OBRA requirements. The role requires strong communication, organization, professionalism, and computer proficiency.

Provides professional reception services by answering calls, greeting visitors, assisting residents and guests, managing deliveries and records, coordinating departmental requests, handling reservations, and performing general clerical duties. Requires strong communication, organization, multitasking, customer service, computer, and recordkeeping skills in a busy community environment.

Lead the accounting department for a new continuing care retirement community: oversee GL/AP/AR/payroll, monthly financial reporting, audits, budgets, trust reconciliations, Medicare billing, compliance, and staff training. Provide financial analysis, cash forecasting, and on-call director coverage.
