The Automotive Technician I performs maintenance and assists in repairs on fleet vehicles, including oil changes, brake checks, and minor welding.

Perform skilled repair, overhaul, and preventative maintenance on gasoline and diesel fleet vehicles and related equipment including brakes, engines, HVAC, electrical, hydraulics, and suspension. Diagnose malfunctions, rebuild components, perform routine inspections, and cover other shops as needed. Work in a busy service garage with variable shifts and exposure to outdoor and workshop conditions; follow safety procedures and wear PPE.

Review and quality-check field investigation reports, provide guidance and feedback to investigators, track and prioritize pending cases, schedule additional leads, assist with customer complaints and QA interviews, prepare statistical reports, and support PMs and managers to ensure timely, accurate submissions.
