Communities for a Better Environment

Communities for a Better Environment (CBE) is a California environmental justice nonprofit that builds people power in communities of color and low-income communities. It works to prevent and reduce pollution and advance environmental health, while supporting green, healthy, and sustainable communities. CBE equips residents in heavily polluted urban areas with organizing skills, leadership training, and legal, scientific, and technical assistance so they can confront threats to community health and well-being.
