The LPN Nursing Unit Manager oversees all operational aspects of nursing units on a 24-hour basis, supports patient-centered long-term care, and leads nursing professionals. The role requires an active practical nursing license, supervisory or management experience, and prior long-term care experience. The position works a first shift schedule at a skilled nursing facility and offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement matching, and daily pay.

Greet visitors and answer phones, direct callers and take messages, operate paging/telephone system, provide administrative support, participate in training, and follow center policies and safety standards to support quality care.

Coordinate nursing staffing to ensure adequate on-duty coverage, align hours with HPPD budget, manage agency and in-house pool use, administer attendance and PTO, and perform general administrative staffing duties.

Manage full employee lifecycle for a skilled nursing facility: recruit and vet candidates with centralized team, complete Workday onboarding and orientation, run training via Relias, coordinate payroll tasks and benefits enrollment, manage engagement events and surveys, and support employee relations and off-boarding to improve retention.
