Leads architecture and technical direction for large, cross-team streaming platform initiatives spanning backend systems, CMS, video workflows, monetization, advertising, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure. Defines scalable and secure microservices architectures, coordinates engineering teams, manages technology roadmaps, evaluates third-party platforms, improves reliability and observability, mentors engineers, and aligns technical investments with business objectives.

Leads the engineering strategy and execution for Xumo’s FAST platform across video, ad technology, data, content management, and backend systems. Oversees budgets, operational performance, scalability, reliability, monetization, personalization, security, privacy, accessibility, and governance. Builds engineering leadership capability, directs cross-functional initiatives, monitors business and platform metrics, and fosters a high-performing culture across onshore and offshore teams. The role is primarily office-based in Irvine, California, with occasional nights and weekends required.

Lead design, development, and integration of backend systems for a large-scale video streaming platform. Build Java-based APIs and microservices, manage data and recommendation pipelines, handle video ingestion and metadata workflows, deploy services on cloud and Kubernetes, ensure performance, reliability, and test automation, and collaborate with product and operations teams to deliver scalable streaming solutions.
