Cogo

Cogo (formerly Laffster) is where live streaming meets crowdfunding to enable artists (actors, comedians, musicians, etc.) to quickly raise money for causes and projects they are passionate about by doing what they do best, showcasing and sharing their talent. It is the first crowdfunding platform to be built with an interactive experience in mind. 

Those utilizing the platform over the last 6 months include Zach Galifianakis, Joel Stein (Time Magazine), Jon Hamm, Father John Misty, Bob Odenkirk and Patton Oswalt. Over the next month everyone from the cast of Glee to Questlove, Ken Burns, Fred Armisen and John Oliver will be utilizing the platform to fundraise. Causes raised for on the platform include everything from funding a new podcast studio or documentary to charities like Smile Train and World Food Programme.
