Tax and audit intern supporting individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns; audit, review, compilation, and assurance engagements; client research; special projects; workpapers; and client communications. The role involves managing multiple engagements, identifying issues, meeting deadlines and budgets, expanding industry knowledge, and gaining experience with accounting procedures and systems.

Performs audit and accounting procedures, prepares financial statements and reports, audits complex transactions, analyzes financial trends, supports client issue resolution, and trains interns. The role serves manufacturing clients and requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with CPA eligibility and relevant audit experience preferred.

The Audit Director performs quality control reviews of assurance engagements, provides technical guidance on FASB and GAAS, researches complex accounting matters, analyzes findings, develops process improvements, maintains assurance methodologies, supports new-standard implementation, and creates thought leadership. The role collaborates with engagement teams, clients, and firm leadership, requiring public accounting experience, CPA credentials, supervisory experience, and strong analytical and communication skills.
