Supports HR operations for a national advisory practice, managing HRIS data, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, talent processes, compliance, reporting, and engagement initiatives. Advises employees and managers on policies, performance, workplace concerns, and development resources while partnering with recruiting, payroll, benefits, and HR leadership. Also supports campus recruiting, internal mobility, audits, and cross-functional HR projects across assigned employee groups.

Prepare and review federal and state tax returns, extensions, and quarterly projections for corporate, partnership, trust, gift, and individual clients. Conduct tax research, resolve issues, coordinate client deliverables, and identify tax matters for managers and partners. Provide feedback, training, and mentoring to staff and interns while supporting tax planning, workflow coordination, client relationships, and timely delivery of high-quality work.

Participates in a structured tax internship combining academic learning with practical experience. Responsibilities include preparing tax returns and extensions, organizing tax information, assisting with tax notices and examinations, using tax preparation software, and completing administrative tasks. The role requires at least 25 hours weekly, weekend flexibility, tax coursework, a minimum 3.0 GPA, Microsoft Office proficiency, strong communication and organizational skills, U.S. work authorization, and VITA Program participation.

Lead commercial tax engagements including reviews of returns and projections, provide partnership/C-corp/S-corp tax planning and compliance, manage client relationships and tax teams, develop business, and mentor staff while maintaining tax technical currency.
