Manage corporate tax engagements for large multi-state and multinational clients, including tax compliance, ASC 740 provisions, Form 1120 review, tax research, and IRS or state notice responses. Build client relationships, mentor tax professionals, identify service expansion opportunities, and ensure projects meet timelines and budgets. The role requires an active California CPA or JD with law license, public accounting experience, and onsite work at least three days weekly.

Responsibilities include reviewing complex tax returns and provisions, advising on federal, state, and international tax matters, managing client relationships, mentoring tax professionals, supporting business development, and ensuring quality, budget, and deadline performance.

Manage state and local income and franchise tax compliance and consulting projects for multiple clients. Review tax returns, conduct research, prepare technical memos, support audits, manage deadlines and deliverables, mentor tax staff, and contribute to client relationships and business development.
