Teams at Bright Star Schools

Provides one-on-one behavioral and social-emotional support to students with disabilities in a school setting. Implements Behavior Intervention Plans and IEP accommodations, reinforces positive behavior, de-escalates crises, monitors student safety and progress, documents services in Welligent, and communicates with teachers, case managers, psychologists, administrators, and behavior specialists. The role also supports specialized healthcare needs, maintains behavioral records, and participates in training and professional development.

Leads Bright Star Schools’ network-wide social work and internship programs, including intern recruitment, supervision, clinical quality assurance, compliance, university partnerships, and professional development. Provides consultation on complex student and family cases, crisis response, trauma-informed practices, and mental health interventions. Integrates social work services across MTSS, SSPT, 504, IEP, attendance, and crisis systems while partnering with school leaders, families, universities, and community organizations.
