Serves as the technical authority for metallurgy and metal joining. Develops and qualifies welding, brazing, and solid-state joining procedures; evaluates thermal cycles, microstructures, defects, and material properties; performs failure analysis; oversees metallurgical laboratory testing; leads R&D and process optimization; ensures compliance with ASME, AWS, API, and regulatory standards; and mentors engineering and production personnel.

Serves as the technical authority for liquid-to-liquid and liquid-to-air heat exchanger design, sizing, optimization, deployment, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management. Performs heat transfer, thermodynamic, fluid dynamic, and CFD analyses; selects materials and heat exchanger types; investigates thermal incidents and performance degradation; and collaborates with engineering, quality, procurement, and operations teams. Reviews proposals, supports vendor qualification, ensures compliance with requirements and safety standards, and contributes to current and future R&D efforts.

Drives complex engineering initiatives from conception through deployment, managing schedules, risks, scalability, and cross-functional execution. Performs FTA, FMEA, HAZOP, probabilistic risk assessments, Monte Carlo simulations, and reliability analyses. Ensures compliance with safety standards and governance policies, recommends mitigation strategies, validates risk controls, authors technical reports, advises engineering and manufacturing teams, and mentors staff on risk analysis practices.

Serves as the technical authority for mechanical structural support assemblies and coolant pumping components. Designs and validates metal frames and shop drawings using 3D modeling, ensuring structural integrity, manufacturability, code compliance, material efficiency, and alignment. Evaluates failures and manufacturing defects, coordinates with customers, suppliers, manufacturing, and field teams, and provides corrective actions. Mentors engineering and production personnel on mechanical design practices. This fully remote role requires 50% global travel.

Manage and grow strategic global customer accounts for Boyd's Thermal and Engineered Materials across Industrial, Data Center, and Semiconductor markets. Develop integrated product solutions, drive sales, build customer relationships, perform market analysis, oversee quotations and project schedules, collaborate with engineering and sales operations, negotiate commercial terms, and use Salesforce to track opportunities. Frequent local and periodic international travel may be required.

Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new customers and markets, building customer relationships, collaborating cross-functionally, managing quotations and projects, and using CRM to track opportunities. Support technical selling, product demonstrations, and negotiate commercial terms; travel (including periodic international) as needed.
