Teams at Boston Medical Center (BMC)

Leads finance transformation, integration, and innovation initiatives supporting the Finance Roadmap. Responsibilities include managing strategic workstreams, analyzing information, developing financial models and recommendations, coordinating cross-functional teams, improving systems and processes, establishing performance metrics, mitigating risks, presenting findings to senior leaders, and driving automation. The role partners with Finance, technology, operational, and clinical stakeholders while overseeing multiple initiatives and supporting implementation of transformation solutions.

Provides senior-level analysis and consulting for healthcare applications, aligning technology solutions with business strategies and clinical processes. Advises stakeholders on system functionality, costs, benefits, and implementation requirements; brokers vendor services; supports complex projects and strategic planning; and serves as a technical liaison across departments. Requires Epic Cadence and Epic Referrals expertise, with responsibilities involving application design, implementation, process improvement, project execution, and cross-functional technical guidance.

Manage post-award financial functions for an assigned grants and contracts portfolio: account reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, payroll/personnel administration, closeouts, and collaboration with PIs and research administration to ensure compliance and timely financial information.
