Design, integrate, test, debug, and lead development of embedded flight software for satellite and payload systems. Translate customer requirements, integrate software with specialized hardware, improve system stability, conduct cyber vulnerability analyses, implement monitoring algorithms, create automation tools, and deliver compliant software on schedule and budget. The role also includes documentation, stakeholder collaboration, software quality assurance, and leadership of software teams and suppliers.

The Ground Systems Engineer will develop and verify satellite ground systems, engage in design trade studies, and support integration and testing processes against customer requirements.

Provides technical leadership for space communications systems across design, integration, verification, testing, certification, production, and sustainment. Develops engineering strategies, technology roadmaps, processes, and tools; leads technical reviews and proposal assessments; resolves complex issues; and mentors engineering teams supporting government and commercial space programs.
