Lead a debt asset management team for structured commercial mortgage, mezzanine, and other debt products. The Senior Associate, CMBS Debt will manage CMBS investments, monitor credit performance, analyze reports, and develop investment recommendations. They will mentor juniors and enhance reporting tools while collaborating with servicers and preparing management updates.

Manage and monitor a portfolio of CMBS/CRE-structured products; assess credit at deal, loan, property, tenant and bond levels; re-underwrite and reforecast cash flows; develop investment recommendations; maintain watchlists and risk frameworks; liaise with servicers and trustees; build surveillance tools and dashboards; prepare investment memoranda and client reporting; mentor junior staff and support ad hoc client requests.

Manage end-to-end closing of commercial real estate debt and equity investments. Own the closing process, maintain due diligence checklists, coordinate third-party diligence (insurance, construction, environmental, appraisal, title), oversee closing economics and cash management, prepare sources & uses and settlement statements, and support post-closing transitions with asset management and servicers.

Support portfolio management for a large commercial real estate fund by owning and enhancing fund models, forecasting fund-level performance, advising on hold/exit strategy, delivering pro forma KPIs for acquisitions, building automated dashboards, and providing analysis for investor relations and senior management.
