BIOGRAPHY

Yeuda Ben-Atar, AKA Side Brain, is a producer, performer, and music educator based in Los Angeles, California. Hestarted out his musical career playing the keys and guitar in the 90s. Then went on to produce hip-hop and soul-influenced music. Two years he became one of the first and few Ableton Certified Trainers in Los Angeles and later founded Beat Lab LA to teach private lessons in advanced electronic music production and performance. 

As a teacher Yeuda gave lectures and workshops at places like:
Skywalker Ranch, Sonos Studios, ASU, UCSD, USC, SAE, Musician Institute, Vintage King, Pensado's Place, Bedrock Studios, Lynda.com, Cal Arts and many more.

As an Ableton Expert Yeuda worked with artists such as:
Giorgio Moroder, Ric Rubin, Ed Sheeran, Dj Numark, Peaches, Guy Gerber and others.

Beat Lab Academy offers beginner to advanced music production courses using Ableton Live to give the tools needed to become the next super producer.

Our classroom is unique and allows us to change the formation of the classroom from modern small grouped layout to an all out computer jam circle.
