Oversee affordable housing community operations, resident relations, leasing, budgets, rent collections, compliance, vendor relationships, financial reporting, and staff leadership. The Community Manager ensures regulatory adherence, resident satisfaction, occupancy and financial goals, property upkeep, employee performance, and effective responses to resident, staff, maintenance, and emergency concerns. The role also manages resident events, retention programs, capital projects, and coordination with leadership, agencies, vendors, and contractors.

Assists the Community Manager with property operations, resident relations, leasing, rent collection, bookkeeping, compliance, reporting, and staff oversight. Handles resident concerns, maintains files, processes rents and deposits, monitors delinquencies, supports leasing and retention events, inspects property conditions, and ensures adherence to Fair Housing, landlord-tenant, ADA, and company policies. Oversees operations in the Community Manager’s absence and supports compliance and eviction procedures.

Reviews resident hard files, leases, tenant records, financial documents, and maintenance records for compliance with housing laws, fair housing requirements, safety regulations, and company policies. Identifies discrepancies, prepares audit reports, recommends corrective actions, collaborates with property management teams, supports compliance policies, and provides guidance and training on documentation and recordkeeping.
