Oversee affordable housing community operations, resident relations, financial performance, leasing, budgets, compliance, vendor relationships, and staff leadership. The role manages resident services, rent collections, occupancy goals, reporting, regulatory adherence, capital projects, employee development, and property presentation. It requires strong communication, conflict resolution, leadership, financial management, and knowledge of LIHTC and tax credit requirements.

Assists the Community Manager with property operations, resident relations, leasing, rent collection, bookkeeping, compliance, reporting, and staff oversight. Handles resident concerns, maintains files, processes payments, supports Fair Housing and landlord-tenant compliance, inspects the property, coordinates retention events, and oversees operations during the manager’s absence. Provides customer service to residents, prospective tenants, vendors, and staff while supporting affordable housing program requirements.

Reviews resident hard files, leases, tenant records, financial documents, and maintenance records for compliance with housing laws, fair housing requirements, safety regulations, and company policies. Identifies discrepancies, prepares audit reports, recommends corrective actions, collaborates with property management teams, supports compliance policies, and provides guidance and training on documentation and recordkeeping.
