Maintain quality records and document controls while collaborating with suppliers, engineering, production, and Quality teams.

Leads the opto-mechanical design engineering department, managing, mentoring, and developing engineers. Oversees design projects, workload allocation, technical specifications, quality processes, documentation, manufacturability, and customer requirements. Provides hands-on opto-mechanical design and structural analysis support, contributes to proposals and business development, and coordinates interdisciplinary projects. Responsibilities include hiring, performance management, process improvement, technical planning, audits, and maintaining compliance with engineering standards and the quality management system.

Designs, analyzes, documents, and supports fabrication, assembly, integration, and testing of high-performance optical assemblies for aerospace and defense products. Leads optical sensitivity and Monte Carlo tolerance analyses, trade studies, metrology and alignment activities, technical reviews, supplier management, and manufacturing problem resolution. Provides expertise in optical materials, coatings, inspection standards, opto-mechanical systems, cleanroom processes, and imaging system performance.
