Leads optical sensitivity and Monte Carlo tolerance analyses, trade studies, metrology and alignment activities, technical reviews, supplier management, and manufacturing problem resolution. Provides expertise in optical materials, coatings, inspection standards, opto-mechanical systems, cleanroom processes, and imaging system performance.

Leads the design and development of complex optical, mechanical, and opto-mechanical components and assemblies for airborne and space platforms. Creates CAD models, drawings, procedures, tooling designs, and bills of materials; supports prototyping, manufacturing, testing, troubleshooting, and alignment. Provides technical guidance to program management and business development, resolves fabrication issues, evaluates manufacturability, conducts root-cause analysis, and improves designs and processes while meeting technical, cost, and configuration-control requirements.
