Fabricate composite and non-metal components per blueprints and production plans using hand lay-up, vacuum bagging, curing, trimming, cutting, drilling, and assembly. Operate cutters, ovens, routers and other fabrication equipment; develop layup patterns; perform repairs; track material usage and traceability; maintain tooling and a clean, safe, FOD-free workspace; and support productivity and quality improvements.

Lead and conduct major system reviews (CDR, RID, FCA/PCA), ensure design compliance with systems requirements and contractual commitments, drive requirements fulfillment and RID resolution, review test data, manage anomaly/root-cause closure, coordinate with Boeing on SLS responsibilities and production processes, support production and inspection development, and lead engineering analyses and project coordination.

The Composite Associate 1 will fabricate composite/non-metal parts, operate various machinery, and ensure quality and efficiency in production processes.
