The RF Systems Engineer will optimize satellite communication terminal RF performance, troubleshoot RF issues, and develop test procedures, managing component BOMs and validating modem integration.

Own RF hardware verification from test planning through execution and analysis. Develop test plans, build laboratory setups, operate RF instruments, troubleshoot failing hardware, analyze measurements, and communicate findings. Contribute Python code to automated testing, collaborate with hardware engineers, and maintain calibrated test equipment. The role covers RF components, software-defined radios, signal chains, mixed-signal hardware, and potentially environmental and military-standard testing.

Lead the physical ground segment, including antenna systems, RF, hardware manufacturing, supply chain, site deployment, integration, and commissioning. Drive the transition from prototype deployments to repeatable, scalable production while owning manufacturability, production readiness, design trade-offs, and deployment throughput. Build and lead mechanical, RF, and field engineering teams, establish manufacturing partnerships, and define the roadmap toward full ground station buildouts.
