Develop and execute sponsor partnership and blood drive programs to meet collection goals. Recruit, sell to, manage, and retain sponsor partners; schedule drives; track performance and analytics; support volunteers; maintain communications and system records; recommend improvements to tools and processes.

Lead daily operations of the Immunohematology Reference Lab, manage and develop staff, ensure regulatory and quality compliance (AABB/ASHI, CFR, OSHA), coordinate test implementation and QC, participate in rare donor programs, oversee inventory and potential manufacturing of special blood products, manage budgets and training, and travel nationally as required.

Manage and grow sponsor partnerships and blood drive programs in South Los Angeles. Develop annual and long-term strategies to meet collection goals, schedule drives, support and train volunteers and Blood Program Leaders, track performance metrics, maintain accurate records, and improve tools and processes. Heavy fieldwork and stakeholder communication to maximize sponsor value and collection outcomes.

Lead and support volunteer teams to deliver disaster response and preparedness services, engage community partners, build volunteer capacity, and participate in regional deployments. Coordinate programs, support outreach, and ensure equitable, culturally and linguistically appropriate services.

Use market knowledge to penetrate assigned geography, improve tools and processes, and provide operational and volunteer leadership as needed.

Provide temporary support for blood drive management by assisting account managers, covering territories, maintaining Hemasphere records, scheduling and training volunteers, conducting on-site recruitment and presentations, and tracking sponsor performance to help achieve donation goals.

Develop and expand relationships with blood drive sponsors in emerging communities; design and execute strategic market plans; manage stakeholder relationships; analyze data and prepare recommendations; support communications, proposals, and contract negotiations; lead volunteer engagement and operational improvements; provide transportation for business travel.

Supervise nightly Quality Control lab operations at a blood center, perform 100% record review and batch release, troubleshoot discrepancies, manage proficiency testing, participate in validation and training, and perform bench work (~40%) on the night shift.
