American Friends Service Committee

The American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) is a Quaker, faith-based nonprofit that partners with communities and people of many backgrounds to challenge injustice and promote lasting peace. Founded to offer conscientious objectors alternatives to military service, it now focuses on just and sustainable peace, just economies, and responses to forced displacement and migration, pursuing social change and human dignity through community-centered work.
