Build and improve resilient, scalable backend systems as part of the Platform team. Responsibilities include implementing observability with OpenTelemetry, defining SLOs, owning incident response processes and follow-ups, mentoring teams on secure and reliable coding, and applying automated testing. The role involves working with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, distributed systems, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD while collaborating with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams.

Lead the strategy and roadmap for Altruist’s portfolio reporting experience. Translate complex financial, market, and portfolio data into accurate, actionable insights for advisors and clients. Conduct product discovery, prioritize the backlog, define requirements, partner with Engineering and Design, evaluate data and vendor dependencies, and collaborate with Compliance, Customer Success, Market Data, and Marketing. Monitor product health and customer outcomes while operating in a regulated financial environment.

Own the roadmap and delivery of enterprise product areas supporting onboarding, firm setup, permissions, branding, billing, and complex organizational workflows. Partner with enterprise customers, engineering, design, and sales to identify needs, simplify operations, ship high-quality releases, and drive measurable outcomes. The role requires strong product judgment, technical aptitude, customer discovery skills, and experience building complex B2B2C or multi-sided software products for enterprise organizations.
