Manages operations project management teams and oversees projects from initiation through completion. Responsibilities include PCB architecture and layout, component selection, circuit board bring-up, embedded processor and sensor integration, troubleshooting, documentation, and fabrication and test procedures. The role collaborates cross-functionally with avionics, embedded systems, and RF teams, supports R&D projects, and may participate in flight testing.

Leads a portfolio of domestic and international UAS production programs from proposal through delivery and sustainment. Oversees 5–8 program and project managers, program schedules, budgets, pricing, contracts, technical performance, export compliance, staffing, and customer relationships. Supports the design, development, integration, testing, and validation of embedded software for unmanned aerial and robotic systems. Responsibilities include writing C/C++ software for microcontrollers and real-time systems, debugging hardware integrations, using lab equipment, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, participating in reviews and documentation, and assisting with prototype, laboratory, and field testing.

Paid 12-week onsite internship supporting test equipment design, C# test software development, troubleshooting, test planning, test case creation, and functional and performance testing of avionics, propulsion, power conversion, motor control, PCBAs, subsystems, and unmanned aircraft systems. The role involves analyzing test results, collaborating across engineering teams, and providing design-for-testability feedback under mentorship.

Supports aerospace engineering teams designing, prototyping, analyzing, and testing airframe structures and aeromechanical components for UAV systems. Responsibilities include creating SolidWorks models, assisting with mechanical analysis, fabricating prototypes, revising engineering drawings and bills of materials, participating in lab testing and design reviews, and troubleshooting system improvements under senior engineer guidance.

Operate day-to-day export compliance program: prepare and manage export license applications, maintain product classifications and records, support shipping/imports, deliver training, audit procedures, support international business development and proposals, work with consultants and legal counsel, and implement continuous improvements to ensure ITAR/EAR compliance.

Lead export classification and compliance for assigned product lines, maintain export records, advise engineering and product teams on ITAR/EAR controls, perform jurisdiction and commodity classifications (ECCN, USML, HTS, Schedule B), manage Technical Focal Point Program, support licensing and shipments, coordinate with legal/consultants, and drive continuous improvement in trade compliance processes.

The Operations Project Manager oversees operations throughout the life cycle of programs, ensuring alignment with engineering and production requirements, managing risks, and communicating program status to stakeholders.
