Lead Advanced Energy United’s legislative and political engagement in Texas. Develop clean energy policy strategies, build relationships with decision-makers and coalition partners, coordinate member advocacy, manage lobbyists and consultants, and create policy and communications materials. The role focuses on expanding advanced energy markets across electricity and transportation, including affordability, transmission, grid resilience, electrification, and wholesale markets. This is a fully remote position requiring residence in or near Austin and travel of up to 30%.

Leads Northeast policy advocacy strategy for clean energy and electrified transportation, manages a remote advocacy team, coordinates member and coalition engagement, and works with policymakers across priority states. The role develops legislative, regulatory, and administrative strategies; represents the organization to members, funders, and stakeholders; supports fundraising; and participates in lobbying, media, testimony, and policy processes. Frequent travel of up to 30% is required.

Lead regional policy advocacy strategies advancing clean energy and electrified transportation across Central U.S. states. Manage a geographically dispersed advocacy team, engage members and policymakers, coordinate legislative and regulatory campaigns, build stakeholder and coalition relationships, represent the organization to funders and prospects, and support revenue generation. The role requires frequent travel, strong political and public policy expertise, team leadership, member engagement, budgeting, and at least ten years of professional experience, including clean energy or transportation work.
