Leads defined contribution retirement plan administration workflows, quality assurance, compliance testing, filings, distributions, and complex escalations. Reviews team work, oversees regulatory audits and QDRO processing, improves operational processes, maintains documentation, and identifies automation opportunities. Partners with clients, recordkeepers, relationship managers, and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely service and compliance with IRS and DOL requirements.

Owns qualified retirement plan document processes, restatements, amendments, disclosures, takeovers, and correction projects. Develops IRS and DOL correction methodologies, oversees EPCRS and related submissions, interprets ERISA and plan provisions, and serves as the technical escalation point. Partners with plan administration, relationship management, product, design, and engineering teams to improve procedures, automation, AI tooling, and client experiences. Monitors regulatory changes and trains internal teams on compliance requirements.

Perform advanced defined contribution retirement plan compliance work, including nondiscrimination testing, contribution calculations, corrections, reconciliations, government filings, audits, plan transitions, and technical consulting. Review peer work, mentor administrators, explain compliance results to clients, monitor regulatory requirements, and improve workflows through automation and AI tools.
