Los Angeles behavioral health provider Rula Health has appointed Manoj Sivakumar as SVP and head of engineering, tasking him with helping strengthen the company’s technology platform and expand access to behavioral health services.

In a news release, Rula Health said Sivakumar previously held leadership roles at Asana, LinkedIn and Google. Most recently, he served as SVP of engineering at HubSpot, where he led AI-driven expansion.

At Rula, Sivakumar will focus on applying his experience scaling large technology systems to the behavioral health sector to accelerate innovation and improve access to care.

“Manoj has spent his career at the intersection of complex infrastructure and human-centric product design. His leadership at HubSpot, Asana and LinkedIn transformed how millions of people connect and grow. We are thrilled to have him apply that same visionary engineering to the challenge of making mental healthcare truly accessible,” Josh Bruno, CEO of Rula, said in a statement.

Rula said Sivakumar’s appointment supports its broader mission to expand access to behavioral health services, following its nationwide rollout of psychiatric services and medication management across all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
